Greetings and Salutations,

My name is Cathie Ahrensfeld and I am the Exalted Ruler of the St. Cloud Elks Lodge #2843. I am looking forward to the 2023-2024 year, it is an exciting time in Minnesota as we are hosting the Elks National Convention in July in Minneapolis. We have 24 lodges and hundreds of people volunteering to make this convention great and show the rest of the country that Minnesota Elks have as much heart as any other state.

We support the state project which is Youth Camp in Nisswa, MN. We are proud of our camp and we love being able to send deserving kids from across the state to camp at no cost to the parents. We sponsor an annual Hoop Shoot contest and an annual Batters Up batting competition. We also enjoy supporting our veterans who have worked so hard and given so much for our great country. Once a month we host a craft day at the Veterans Resource and Enrichment Center here in St. Cloud. These are just a few of the things our lodge does to show appreciation to members of our community.

·         Do you find it fulfilling to help veterans who have served our country?

·         Do you believe in helping others and making your community a better place?

·         Do you enjoy spending time with like-minded people?

·         Do you want to be involved, but find that you don’t have a lot of time? Don’t worry, with the Elks you are welcome to participate as much or as little as you would like or are able to.

The St Cloud Elks may be one of the smallest lodges in the state, but our members have some of the biggest hearts and I am proud to call this fabulous group of people my brothers and sisters in the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks. We have fun and we work hard for the good of the community.
